TRUMPET 4

Jere started trumpet lessons at Rohrerstown School in 6th grade, and later played in the Penn Manor High School Band. He is a US Army veteran and currently a member of the Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard as a bugler, having participated in over 500 services. He feels very fortunate to be a member of the Moonlighters for two years, and a member of the Sound of Roses for 30 years. Jere retired from communications in 1999 after 33 years of service. He is an active member of his church, serving on various committees and involved with the music program. He also volunteers 2 days a week at the General Hospital and the Fulton Theater. He has been married to his wife, Isa, for 46 years, and has 2 adult children. Living in the woods in Pequea is a dream come true.
